Customer Pricing

The amount you pay for Medicare services is based on several factors, including the type of coverage you choose, the treatments and benefits you use during the year and any limitations your insurance policy places on payments made both in and out of network.

Medicare Part B, Medicare Part C, Medicare Part D and most Medigap policies all have monthly premiums. Additional Part A premiums may be required by your health insurance company under certain circumstances.

All or some of the following may be reimbursed by Medicare or Medigap:

  • Coinsurance is the amount that may be due to cover your share of the expense for a covered service. For instance, Medicare Part B may pay for 80% of the cost of a covered medical therapy, leaving you to pay the remaining 20%.
  • The cost of a covered service or benefit is known as the copay. A visit to the doctor might cost $20, and a bottle of medication might set you back $12.
  • A deductible is the amount of money you'll pay out of pocket before insurance companies like Medicare or your plan will begin paying for your medical care.

Given the wide range of costs associated with Medicare supplemental coverage, a quote from Benzinga can help you discover a health plan that fits your budget.
